NCS incorporates proactive safety and risk management systems to eliminate hazards on all our work sites. To achieve this, we create an environment that places the highest value on the health and safety of the employees, customers and community.


Joining Our Team

As our work force continues to grow, Newville Construction Services takes the initiative to ensure safety is communicated to all new team members. We provide orientation programs and training that cover Newville Construction Services expectations for safe work practices as well as review all company safety policies and procedures.

Our implementation of human performance and a behavior-based safety culture equips our team members for success when they head into the field.


Project Safety Planning

Successful projects begin with a formulated safety and regulatory plan. We have experienced and knowledgeable project managers and safety professionals executing and overseeing all projects, conducting job briefings prior to the start of each workday and when any conditions change.

Each member of the crew, any visitors and/or sub-contractors are briefed on our safety and regulatory plan and must sign-in on the job brief.


Safety Evaluations

Newville Construction Services implements a documented safety evaluation system, along with weekly safety meetings to ensure our compliance for regulatory and safety processes and procedures. All levels of the organization are expected to be involved in the execution of this program to use any observations to expand on our existing safety culture and improve our project performance.

Allan received an associate degree in Welding and Metal Fabrication from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and then went on to serve in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer for four years. Once honorably discharged, he continued his education receiving his bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health from Millersville University. Since graduating in 2013, Allan has been able to experience safety in fields ranging from railroad to medical research to heavy construction.
Allan oversees all Newville Construction Services projects forming site specific safe project plans, emergency action plans, project safety evaluations/ audits, program implementation, and overall project management assistance.
